What shipping options are available?

  1. You may choose to have your order shipped free of charge to the Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic (SLVC) for pickup during regular business hours.
  2. You may choose to have your purchases shipped to your home or your business (not available for rural addresses) via Purolator for a fee.

 Important Information for Purolator Shipments

Due to overwhelming ecommerce business, Purolator is no longer required to get a signature upon delivery.

The Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic is not responsible for orders stolen, frozen, melted, wet or otherwise compromised when shipped to your home. It is expected someone to be home for the delivery. 

 

Out-of-province or international shipping is not available. 

At home delivery is not available for rural addresses. 

Shipping to a P.O Box is not permitted. 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping to SLVC for pick-up is free of charge.  

Costs for shipping to another address is dependant upon the size, weight and quantity of the procuct, and determined by Purolator.  

The shipping costs can be calculated prior to confirming order if home delivery is selected. If shipping costs are deemed unreasonable, you may change your order to have product shipped to SLVC prior to finalizing purchase.

How long does shipping take?

Products shipped to our clinic will arrive at our clinic with our regular deliveries of products and medical supplies. Delivery is dependent upon SLVC placing an order, which is typically done 2-3 times weekly. Thus, it is expected that an order selected to be delivered to SLVC should arrive within 2-3 business days, typically received between 11am-1pm. You will receive a phone call when your order arrives at the clinic. 

At home delivery will typically take 2 business days after your order is placed. You will receive an email when your package has been shipped. 

Are there restrictions on where products can be delivered?

Currently we cannot offer shipping to rural locations or P.O. boxes. You may attempt this but it is probable that your product will end up in the nearest Purolator depot regardless of what the website tells you at checkout. If this is the case, it is your responsibility to pick up your package as instructed by Purolator, or contact Purolator and request them to ship it elsewhere or to the Sylvan Lake Veterinary Clinic for pick-up.

Do I need to enter the clinic to pick up my purchases?

Arrive in our parking lot, call us on your cell phone and pop the trunk.  We will bring your order and place it in your vehicle.
